It's very important to understand what you do today online will matter in the future. The funny photo you posted of yourself skateboarding off the roof, might not be too funny when you are running for Student Government Association in college. The incredibly stupid photos you posted with your best friend during the summer when you are bored, might not be so boring when your future employer is searching the internet to find information about you.
Colleges, organizations, and even future employers are now looking at your digital footprint. THINK before you post something online -- it would have consequences that will last a long time.
