I attended AETC 2016 where I collaborated with many educators from about the state, region, and nation. I learned about many new tech tools to help with student achievement and engagement. I am very excited to bring back these tech tools and apps to share with teachers, students, and parents. Here are a few highlights from the conference.

Alabama School Library Association Summer ConferenceI attended the 2015 ASLA Conference. She enjoyed collaborating with other school library media specialists from around the state of Alabama. It was an excellent day of learning. I learned about many new (and cool) technology for the library to get everyone excited. As well as new books for the middle school students. Holly Whitt talked about how to start a MakerSpace in your library. She brought lots of awesome tech toys to play.
For the fifth year in a row, Mrs. Dillard is able to attend the Alabama Educational Technology Conference (AETC) 2015 at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama! This conference is a wonderful professional development opportunity where she can collaborate with colleagues around the state and country on the integration of technology in the classroom.
This is the fourth year in a row Mrs. Dillard has presented at AETC with her colleague, Mrs. Kimberly Dunn of the Pike County High School English Language Arts Department. |
